I found this great little Airstream in my local newspaper classifieds. What a change from the traveling I normally do to find a special trailer.
This is one of only 24 Ohio Bubbles built in 1956. With the 13 panels both front and rear this trailer is a real beauty. One of my all time favorite, small Airstreams it comes with the optional bunk bed, Astral refrigerator and cook top stove. There are two things that make this trailer very rare other than it being a Bubble. This is the first known use of the Caravel name and I believe, the only Bubble badged as such by the factory. Why they did this, I don't know, but if you look at the serial # 01034 C (see photo below) note the C at the end for Caravel. Also the serial # sequence makes it the last Bubble built at Jackson Center, Ohio in 1956.
The trailer is in good original condition and needs only some cleaning and details before it will be ready to roll.
